Envisioning the Future of Connected Mobility and Smart Cities
The urban mobility systems are rapidly changing. Countless new forms from carsharing, bike sharing to new types of personal mobility such as Segways and electronic scooters, facilitated by multi-model transportation apps. Driverless cars are on the rise and will soon cost less than $1/km, disrupting not only the car industry but other forms of mobility, such as walking.
BEAM was approached to create insights into the future of mobility in India and reflect its trends towards urban connected mobility, to create a mobility strategy and prototype different forms of service.
